2. Two of the government sponsored students (not mine) take a pony ride on a school trip. A trip was organized for all the government sponsored students at my university to visit Lugou Bridge, Tanzhe Temple, and Stone Flower Cave. I believe this was taken at Tanzhe Temple. The guy on the right is one of the many Uyghur students sponsored by the government. Northwest China needs considerable development, but no one wants to go there. So the government is sponsoring many Uyghurs, who are from Northwest China, in the hope that they will return from overseas study and work actively to develop their region of China.
