The DanningRiver is a small river that flows into the Changjiang. It is home to the Small Three Gorges. Many people consider the Small three Gorges to be more dramatic and therefore more atrractive, due to the narrow width of the river. In some parts of the gorges the river is no more than 20 meters in width.

Our boat docked and we transfered to smaller tour boats to take us on the 6 hours trip through the gorges and back. I felt they were more dramatic and offered more unique scenes that were lacking in the Yangzi gorges.
