Chaotianmen is kind of a showcase dock in Chongqing. It is the only dock area close to Jifeng Bei, an area considered the true downtown of the city. Chongqing is actually a city divided into three sections by the Yangzi River and the Jialing River. From Chaotianmen you can see other areas of the city across the two rivers.

I took this photo to show where the Jialing River runs into the Yangzi. The Yangzi River is the brown area of water. It carries huge amounts of sediment and regardless of what people say, the river was always brown. The Jialing is green and here you can see the two merge.
